Thanks to all who pitched in to help with our annual river cleanup.  The event has become something of an institution in our community and would not be possible without support from our sponsors and community members.

The new weir operation rules are working and we have realized the benefits of storing more water in the lake when we were again in the midst of our annual summer drought. 

Today we’re starting to talk to citizens in the Cowichan Valley about the new law they are writing right now in Victoria for our water and how we can ensure it gets us closer to local control.
