Roger has been a part of One Cowichan since the beginning. Here he shares what drives him to stand up for our community.

I quietly (sometimes) and determinedly (always) rage about quality-of-life issues in the Cowichan and hope that you will join with me, as ONE COWICHAN becomes a catalyst for transformative change. The basis of our community’s health and wealth are vibrant ecosystems. We must learn to live in a manner that is mindful of ecological limits. A smorgasbord of challenges is at hand, including: watershed management, log exports, “dirty dirt,” and coastal tanker traffic. There is no free lunch — damn!
