It's time to take action and then to celebrate our collective strength.

May 10th is a national day of action on climate, and our Cowichan event will show Canada that we're ready to take on Enbridge and more.

This is because May 10 also marks 10 weeks from when we started to sign up 200 people to prepare for a possible HST-style citizens initiative on Gateway.

Thanks to those who have signed up for the 5 point commitment, we’re pretty sure we’ll get there!

This organizing is pretty special, so on May 10th let’s tell all of Canada about it and then celebrate - because nobody wants to join the army of the glum.

We will stand up and be counted with a group photo that we'll send to Enbridge, and then we’ll have some fun, food and music – Masimba Marimba will play for us!

And, you’ll get to meet lots of like-minded people and see what the other neighbourhood teams have been up to. There may even be a little friendly competition for bragging rights. Kids welcome. Please RSVP.
