It’s a wrap!

We just finished our solar summer campaign by sending a letter to all local councils with the names of everyone who signed the petition calling on them to make Cowichan the solar capital of BC.

As I watched the rising plume of smoke above the wildfire near Highway 18 I was reminded of the effects of climate change we are now facing.  It is not only the river and lake that are suffering from the lack of rain but also the forests that surround us.

A big thank you to everyone who participated in the One Cowichan election survey. Back in May we commissioned a local poll through Insights West, but we also wanted to ask supporters and watchers directly what they thought.
